Hello! I'm Abel!

 

 

It all started for me on a cold winters night... Ha! Just Kidding! I couldn't pass up an opportunity to crack a joke! Four amazing daughters call me "Dad", so laughter keeps me grounded. Plus, they love my dad jokes! **wink wink**

I've been an artist since childhood, always drawing and sketching. It wasn’t until high school, when I took a photography class, that I discovered my passion for the camera. Years later, a friend asked me to help shoot a wedding. After complimenting my creative eye, he encouraged me to pursue it further. That moment inspired me to buy a camera—and that’s when I began truly refining my craft.

What I love most about photography is that it's a versatile art form—one that allows for endless creative expression. At its core, it's about freezing a moment in time, capturing memories that will last a lifetime. Whether it’s prom, time with friends, or special events, those moments pass quickly—but photographs preserve them forever, encapsulating both time and history.

In 2019, I was invited to photograph a fashion show, and it was an incredible experience. The fusion of various art forms in one space created the perfect opportunity for me to capture the energy, creativity, and beauty of it all.

People often feel at ease around me—I’m approachable, easy to work with, and open to both listening and sharing creative ideas. I enjoy keeping things light, having fun, and bringing a sense of joy to every shoot.

"Phenomenal! This is a professional!! I have used him multiple times through my son’s modeling agency, Natori’s Club. I opted for an in studio shoot rather than going outdoors. He can control the lighting and props so much easier. But he will also do location shoots if that is what you prefer. He has an artistic flare that I really enjoy, and it gave us a unique vibe to end result. He had us posing in traditional poses and would occasionally try something very unorthodox like having my son lying/planking on top of his chair, making my daughter jump in the air, or using artistic angles. I recommend. And I will use him again. I freaking LOVE Abel."
